She Stands

*Photo Credit -Seth Doyle* What is seen through our individual lens may at times look different but yet are the same.  We are each a mom and a grandmother; a sister, a daughter and a friend; one is a wife and two are single. We are women who walk and have walked paths that are identical and some that parallel one another. Then there are the roads we have traveled that could not be more opposite if we tried. However the one common ground, the one perfect picture in each of our lens, the solid foundation of our lives, is Jesus. There was a time when we three lived, raised our children and worshipped together from our little homes on the prairie. And even though we are now stretched from Texas, Louisiana and Alabama, our geographic location has not become a factor in our bond.  Our personal lenses have expanded and our boulevards have changed directions, but our connection has been made stronger. We are there to encourage, laugh, share ...

This morning as I sat and drank my coffee, I watched this momma squirrel teach her baby where to go to collect their breakfast.  As she ran up and down the tree over the wooden fence, her baby followed her every foot step. Stopping when mom stopped, running when mom ran and jumping to the next spot just like mom was doing.  It was a peaceful moment in time in which my daddy God reminded me of his love and care for all his children and his love for me. I began to think back on the many times in my life his footprints  guided me down the tress, over the fences and through the rough spots in my life,  The many people he placed in my path to encourage me through my brokenness.  The love of family and friends that feed me with words of strength and healing. I began to see all the times in my life he used me to feed others even through my own struggles. When I surrender to his will, my focus shifts from my own brokenness to their...

When hearing the word prosper most, my self included,  immediately see dollar signs.  Financial gain is always a blessing.... However there is so much more in becoming prosperous.... Much more. There is prosperity in our health...... Prosperity in our relationships, old and new..... When  our daddy God increases our knowledge..... Our wisdom..... Our joy..... We are prosperous.  When our faith is increased to a new level..... When mercy and grace become the foundation of our love for others...... When forgiveness comes easy to those who hurt us.... When the peace that surpasses all understanding engulfs our hearts and souls..... We are prosperous. When  the manifestation of our daddy God's word comes alive in the very core of our being...... When we see others through the eyes of our Father..... In the reaching out and lending a hand to those in need...... We are prosperous. As Holy Spirit continues to whisper to me the words abund...
